The Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco) in Paris is now part of EUniWell, the European university network for well-being and its eleventh member. The Alliance includes already the Universities of Birmingham, Cologne, Florence, Konstanz and Murcia, Linnaeus, Nantes, Santiago de Compostela, Semmelweis and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Founded in 1795, Inalco is a research university specialising in language-based Area Studies and Global Studies. It is made up of 14 research centres and has over 9,000 students.
With this new entry, the Alliance now counts over 330,000 students and almost 60,000 staff members among its international network.
