As already pointed out in previous communications, the University of Florence strongly advises foreign incoming students to achieve a sufficient knowledge of Italian language before arriving to Firenze.
We believe that it is difficult to fruitfully attend courses not having a knowledge of Italian language corresponding at least to the B1 level.
In any case, we inform incoming students that in the academic year 2011/2012 the University of Florence and its Centro Linguistico di Ateneo will not offer any elementary course of Italian language.
All language courses will be starting from the A2 level upwards, i.e.. considering as established the basic A1 level.
