Registration to programmes is now open

A rich and comprehensive range of programmes across all disciplinary areas, attentive to current issues and with an international reach.

Registration is now open for First (bachelor's), Single and Second (master's) degree programmes at the University of Florence for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The 148 programmes respond to the challenges of today's and tomorrow's world, addressing the needs of the community and face complex and urgent issues: demographic, climate, and digital transitions; artificial intelligence and sustainable development; the preservation of cultural and artistic heritage; the new frontiers of technology and science; and culture in all its forms.

64 First (bachelor's), 9 Single Cycle, and 75 Second (master's) degree programme; 21 international programmes, organized in collaboration with foreign universities for joint, double, or multiple degrees; 18 programmes held either exclusively or partially in English; 7 blended programmes are held partly in person and partly online, using the most advanced teaching techniques to facilitate study and work or family commitments.

To complete the overview, 2 professional programmes in the field of techniques and technologies for construction and the wood industry, tailored with experts, promoting integration into le lavor market.

The Second cycle degree programme in “Logic, Philosophy of Science and Methods of Research Methods", in collaboration with the IMT School for Advanced Studies in Lucca, is one of the new programme for the 2025/2026 academic year. Its goal is to prepare students who combine a solid and structured background in logic and philosophy of science with a strong ability to interact with cutting-edge research.

6 programmes have been enhanced and renamed, with updated content: the First cycle degree in Plant Nursery Science and Landscape Design and the Second cycle degree programmes in Economics, Institutions Sustainability; Tropical and Sub-Tropical Agriculture; Food Design and Innovation; Physical and Astrophysical Sciences; and Communication Strategies in the Digital Society.

Many programmes have integrated and enriched their curricula with new courses, in order to tailor education to the changing needs.
