Academic Activity

The International PhD Program

In 2002 he was awarded a grant from the Italian Ministry of Education (Cooperlink) to establish an International PhD School in ?RF, Microwave and Electromagnetics?. Under agreements signed by the University of Florence and the Universities of Colorado at Boulder (Prof. KC Gupta), Arizona State (Prof. S Goodnick) and Tennessee at Knoxville (Prof. S El Ghazali), the PhD School is now carrying out a joint PhD program. The students, at the end of the course, upon fulfillment of the requirements of both Italian and US partner universities, are awarded both the Italian and US PhD degree.
