Molecular Mechanisms of Multiple Sclerosis
Principal investigators: M. Chelli, F. Lolli, A.M. Papini, P. Rovero

The main Project of PeptLab is the development of new glycopeptides useful for diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, a serious disease affecting the Central Nervous system.

These products were patented in 2001 by the University of Florence [Italian Patent FI 2001A000114 of 22.06.2001. Authors: A.M. Papini, M. Chelli, P. Rovero, F. Lolli. Property: Università di Firenze. International Patent application WO 03/000733 ] and are now under technology transfer.

Since 2004 this project has been financed by Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.
