Encounters with the Town

Reading the present to understand the future

The University of Florence in view of promoting and strenthening the connection with the territory, organises a cycle of public conferences where academics and researchers talk over current topics within their specific expertise.

The programme concerns the discussion of a subject relevant to Florentines, presented by an academic and supported by a researcher interacting with the public stimulating debate and exchange of ideas.

The conferences are held in the Great Hall of the University, Rectorate (Piazza San Marco, 4) once a month on Sundays at 10.30 am.
