A model to identify the most suitable patients for transplantation in primary Myelofibrosis was developed by a team coordinated by Alessandro Maria Vannucchi and Paola Guglielmelli, of the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine and the Center for Research and Innovation of Myeloproliferative Diseases of Careggi University Hospital.
The study was published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology (“MIPSS70: Mutation-Enhanced International Prognostic Score System for Transplantation-Age Patients With Primary Myelofibrosis”).
