An online heat alert system for agricultural workers and others

First results of a European project involving the Department of Agrifood Production and Environmental Sciences and the Bioclimatology Center

This is the outcome of Heat-Shield (“Integrated inter-sector framework to increase the thermal resilience of European workers in the context of global warming”), a European project of the Horizon 2020 program, with a Danish leadership, and the participation of 20 research centers and international businesses, to which the University of Florence participates with the Department of Agrifood Production and Environmental Sciences (DISPAA) and the Center for Bioclimatology (Cibic).
