As part of the HOLD project, a group of researchers from the Department of Industrial Engineering, in collaboration with Fondazione Don Gnocchi, is developing a device to support the recovery of hand functions.
A customized and low-cost robotic device, designed to prolong the effectiveness of home rehabilitation sessions and support the recovery of hand functions. HOLD (Hand exoskeleton system, for rehabilitation and activities), is its name and this is one of the multidisciplinary projects funded by the University for fixed-term researchers. The team of researchers is from the Department of Industrial Engineering and is working in collaboration with the Fondazione Don Gnocchi.
