Training Snap4City, 2020 edition

Snap4City is organizing the new 2020 edition of Training Snap4City: Smart City IOT Course from data gathering to smart applications and Control Rooms. 
The event is promoted by the Department of Information Engineering (DINFO) and the Distributed Systems and Internet Technologies Lab (DISIT)

Participants will come together to create professional dashboards, IOT applications, smart solutions with just a few steps, and without the need to be programmers.
The course will also be useful to programmers as it will show them how to do in just a few minutes what takes days of work with the current technologies for smart city including programming technologies for mobile applications, IOT, GIS and business intelligence tools.
Researchers and data analysts will also find it beneficial, as it will enable them to understand how to create intelligent applications and experiments exploiting the big data of the Snap4City platform, but focusing only on the analytical parts in RStudio/Python ​​and solving the remaining aspects in just a few clicks.

The topics of the workshops will range from mobility to environment, energy, IOT apps, etc.  

Dates and Venue: 14-16 April 2020, MORGAGNI Campus, room 110.  Viale Morgagni 40, Florence, Italy.

The course will be held in English, tutors in the room will be able to interact in English, Italian and other languages. The course includes frontal slides, full access to the platform and development tools, and exercises during the workshops. A final certificate will be provided certifying the participant's presence, and the level of proficiency attained.
