Teaching in the first half of 2021-22, classes delivered in-person and streamed

The guidance given by the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors

How the teaching will take place in the first semester of 2021-22. The guidance has been given by the Academic Senate and the Board of Directors for the new academic year.

Classes of all subjects of all University programs will be held in person, in compliance with the safety protocols on distance and tracking.

The same Kairos classroom seat booking system used in both semesters of the last academic year, will be the system of choice once more: It will also allow the management of any shifts in the classrooms if the number of seats available, which is reduced due to the need for distance, will not be sufficient.

To allow all students to participate in the classes, the mixed presence/distance system mode will be maintained and all lectures will be streamed through the Cisco Webex platform.

For the benefit of students who are unable to participate in the learning activities in-person, recordings of the lectures will be available on the Moodle platform for at least one week, or alternatively, other forms of recovery of the same as provided for in the Ministerial Note of 23 June.
