L'esame di DIRITTO COSTITUZIONALE COMPARATO ED EUROPEO sarà in forma mista: orale per gli studenti che lo sosterranno a distanza; scritto (vedi modalità illustrate nel descrittvo dell'esame online) per chi desidera sostenerlo in presenza.
L'esame di COMPARATIVE MIGRATION LAW potrà essere sostenuto sia a distanza sia in presenza, sempre in forma orale

Veronica Federico is Associate professor in Comparative Public Law in the Department of Legal Studies of the University of Florence. From 2009 to 2017 she was research fellow at Boston College (Massachusetts, USA) in the BC study-abroad program in Italy. Veronica obtained her PhD in March 2005 at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris.
She was research associate with the School of Social Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (2001-04) and visiting scholar with the Charles University in Prague (2004) and the Centre d’Etudes Africaines of the EHESS in 2008, and visiting professor with the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO) in Brest (spring 2021). She has obtained several research awards and grants from the Italian National Council for Research (CNR), NATO, the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), the European commission, and a number of national private entities. She has been involved in several national and international research projects, financed and supported by public and private entities (inter alia: Italian Ministry for Research and University, regional government of Tuscany, Oxfam). She has been Principal investigator of the Italian research team in two concluded EU funded H2020 researches ("TransSol, Transnational solidarity at times of crisis " (https://www.dsg.unifi.it/vp-334-horizon-2020.html) 2015-2018, and "RESPOND, Multilevel Governance of Mass Migration in Europe and Beyond" ( www.respondmigration.com) 2017-2021) and is the PI in two ongoing EU H2020 researches: "D.Rad, De-Radicalisation in Europe and Beyond: Detect, Resolve, Re-integrate" 2020-2023, and "Sirius, Skills and integration of migrants, refugees and asylum applicants in European Labour market " (https://www.sirius-project.eu/) 2018-2021.
Her research interests include: African studies; African Comparative Constitutional Law; Fundamental Rights; Constitutional and Democratic Transitions; Migration and compartaive migration law; French Constitutional Law and Politics; Citizenship.
