Born on July 16th, 1975 in Florence (Italy)
His main research interests are wind engineering, flow-induced vibrations, bluff-body aerodynamics and structural dynamics. He gave scientific contributions through both experimental studies in the wind tunnel and computational fluid dynamics simulations mainly in the fields of bridge flutter, vortex-induced vibration of bridge decks and slender structures, interference of vortex-induced vibration and galloping, wind loads on buildings, and energy-harvesting from flutter-induced vibrations.
