Pauline Deguy svolge attività di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Storia, Archeologia, Geografia, Arte e Spettacolo dell'Università di Firenze. Laureata in Geografia, ha ottenuto il titolo di Dottore di ricerca in "Beni Culturale e Territorio" presso l’Università Tor Vergata di Roma.Dal 2013 al 2017 è stata borsista di ricerca presso il Laboratorio di Geofisica Sperimentale (Dip. DST) sull’analisi e la mappatura della vulnerabilità sismica della città di Firenze. Nel 2018 diventa assegnista, progetto LAND-ID, LANDscape and cultural heritage. IDentity and local development, e nel 2020, progetto CHIMERA-Cultural HerItage and MEdia. Representation and storytelling of the historical and Archaeological, tutti due finanziamento POR-FSE. Attualmente collabora con il Laboratorio di Geografia applicata (UNIFI) sui seguenti ambiti tematici:- censimento, monitoraggio, tutela e valorizzazione dei beni storicoculturali e del paesaggio;- cartografia, GIS, telerilevamento;- ricostruzione virtuale del paesaggio storico;- geografia storica, in particolare nell'ambito di studi finalizzati alla ricostruzione dei passati assetti territoriali della Toscana;- GIS per la costruzione di banche dati geografiche e per la produzione di cartografia tematica.

Pauline Deguy carries out research activities at the SAGAS Department of the University of Florence. Graduated in Geography, she obtained a PhD in "Cultural Heritage and Territory" at the University Tor Vergata of Rome.From 2013 to 2017 she was a research fellow at the Laboratory of Experimental Geophysics (Dip. DST) on the analysis and mapping of seismic vulnerability of the city of Florence. In 2018 she became a research fellow, project LAND-ID, LANDscape and cultural heritage. IDentity and local development, and in 2020, project CHIMERA-Cultural HerItage and MEdia. Representation and storytelling of the historical and Archaeological, both POR-FSE funding. Currently collaborates with the Laboratory of Applied Geography (UNIFI) on the following thematic areas:- census, monitoring, protection and enhancement of the historical and cultural heritage and landscape;- cartography, GIS, remote sensing;- virtual reconstruction of the historical landscape;- historical geography, in particular in the context of studies aimed at the reconstruction of the past territorial structures of Tuscany;- GIS for the construction of geographical databases and for the production of thematic cartography.
