Valerio Martinelli è dottore di ricerca (PhD) in Scienze dell'Economia Civile presso la LUMSA di Roma e cultore della materia in Economia e Gestione delle Imprese (SECS-P/08) presso l'Università di Firenze, dove collabora anche con la Scuola di Economia e Management. Collabora oggi per attività di consulenza e ricerca con istituzioni, enti del terzo settore e imprese.
Laureato in Giurisprudenza a Pisa con il massimo dei voti, ha conseguito il Master Universitario di I Livello in “Management Politico e Drafting Legislativo” presso la Luiss School of Government ed il Master Universitario di II Livello in “Analisi e Valutazione delle Politiche Pubbliche” presso la Ca’Foscari di Venezia ed il Senato della Repubblica.
In Luiss Guido Carli è assistente e cultore della materia in Politiche dell'Unione Europea (SPS/04) ed è Ricercatore Senior della Fondazione Bruno Visentini.
È membro del Centro Universitario Cattolico (CUC) della CEI e Segretario Responsabile dell'Osservatorio Giuridico Legislativo (OGL) della Conferenza Episcopale Toscana. Fa parte dei giovani ricercatori di Economy of Francesco nel villaggio "Work and Care".
È membro del gruppo di lavoro di ASVIS sull’obiettivo (goal) n.8, “Lavoro dignitoso e Crescita Economica” e n.11, “Città e comunità sostenibili” dell’Agenda Onu 2030 per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile.
È membro e segretario del Comitato Scientifico del Premio di Laurea in memoria di Salvatore Satta in materia di Previdenza Sociale e welfare.
È membro del Comitato Scientifico dell’Istituto di Ricerche Educative e Formative (IREF).
È membro del Comitato dei referees della rivista “Giovani e comunità locali”.
Dal 2019 serve come Assessore alle attività produttive e al lavoro presso il Comune di Montopoli in val d'Arno e dal 2022 è abilitato all'esercizio della Professione Forense.
È autore di articoli, contributi e pubblicazioni. Con ETS Edizioni, ha pubblicato "Right or Duty to Work. Lavoro, welfare e politiche per l'occupazione tra House of Cards e le sfide del futuro" (2018). Con FrancoAngeli Editore, per la collana "Laboratorio Sociologico" ha pubblicato "Sviluppare valore nell'esperienza sul campo. Gli effetti del Servizio Civile in Toscana" (2020).
Valerio Martinelli is PhD in Civil Economics Sciences at the LUMSA in Rome and teaching and research assistant in Economics and Business Management (SECS-P/08) at the University of Florence, where he also collaborates with the School of Economics and Management. Today he collaborates for consultancy and research activities with institutions, research institutes and entrerprises.
Graduated in Law in Pisa with full marks, he obtained the I Level University Master in "Political Management and Legislative Drafting" at the Luiss School of Government and the II Level University Master in "Analysis and Evaluation of Public Policies" at the Ca'Foscari of Venice and the Senate of the Republic.
In Luiss Guido Carli is teaching assistant and lecturer in European Union Policies (SPS/04) and Senior Researcher at the Bruno Visentini Foundation.
He is a member of the Catholic University Center (CUC) of the Italian Episcopal Conference and Secretary in charge of the Legal and Legislative Observatory (OGL) of the Tuscan Episcopal Conference. He is one of the young researchers of Economy of Francesco in the "Work and Care" village.
He is a member of the ASVIS working group on goal (goal) 8, "Decent work and Economic Growth" and 11, "Sustainable cities and communities" of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
He is a member and secretary of the Scientific Committee of the Degree Award in memory of Salvatore Satta in the field of Social Security and welfare.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Institute for Educational and Training Research (IREF).
He is a member of the Referees Committee of the magazine “Youth and local communities”.
Since 2019 he has served as Councilor for productive activities and work at the Municipality of Montopoli in Val d'Arno and since 2022 he has been qualified for the legal profession as a lawyer.
He is the author of articles, contributions and publications. With ETS Edizioni, he published "Right or Duty to Work. Work, welfare and employment policies between House of Cards and the challenges of the future" (2018). With FrancoAngeli Editore, for the series "Laboratorio Sociologico" he published "Developing value in the experience in the field. The effects of the Civil Service in Tuscany" (2020).
