Italian University System What Are the “Schools” in our University? At the University of Florence, academic programmes are grouped under Schools, which bring together related Departments and study areas.Each School coordinates the teaching activities, orientation initiatives, and student support for its own programmes.For example:The School of Engineering includes degree programmes in civil, industrial and computer engineering.The School of Humanities and Education includes programmes in literature, history, philosophy, and education sciences.During the Orientation Weeks, each School will present both its Bachelor’s (First Cycle) and Master’s (Second Cycle) degree programmes.
