Research assignments (incarichi di ricerca) are contracts for introduction to research and innovation under the supervision of a tutor, aimed at young graduates (with a Second Cycle - master's or Single Cycle degree obtained no more than 6 years ago) with a suitable CV. The contracts have a minimum duration of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years (including any renewals or extensions), even if not continuous. This duration can only be extended within the framework of the European Union's Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) funding programme.Assignments are awarded:Through selection calls, with evaluation based on qualifications and publications and, where applicable, an interview.Through direct award, with expressions of interest, in the case of funding obtained through competitive national, European or international calls.Consult “Regolamento incarichi di ricerca" on the Statute and regulations section.
