Learning Objectives
Within the Hydraulic Structures Laboratorythe aim is to refine the student competence of Hydrology and Hydraulic Structures module to enlarge the knowledge on
water supply systems and sewer design supplying. The theoretical and practical competences for the structures design are provided.
The reference laws for the structures designare also presented and discussed.
Prerequisites
Probability and Statistics. Fluid mechanics. Hydrology and hydraulic structures.
Teaching Methods
The course is developed in classroom lessons, thematic lectures and practical exercises on specific arguments.
Further information
The discipline is developed in an integrate way with the discipline of Hydrology and Hydraulic Structures. Lectures notes and further documentation, as well as data for exercises development are available on e-l.unifi.it.
Type of Assessment
The evaluation of the student profit is performed based on water supply systems and sewer design exercises as well as the project work discussion, carried out individually or in a small group.
Course program
