Quality Assurance

The University's Quality Assurance (QA) system is the set of processes by which it promotes the quality of its institutional activities (teaching, research and third mission/social impact), through the planning, implementation, monitoring and constant review of its activities, with a view to ongoing improvement.

The Italian Quality Assurance mechanism is based on the standards drawn up by ENQA (the European umbrella body for evaluation and QA agencies operating in the countries adhering to the European Higher Education Area) and is set out in the Self-Assessment, Evaluation and Accreditation processes defined by ANVUR (the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research).
