International Study Programmes

These are study paths (also referred to as courses) organized with other foreign universities that include forms of curriculum integration and structured student mobility schemes, with mutual recognition of educational activities.

The awarding of double degrees (doppi titoli) or multiple degrees (titoli multipli) implies that, at the end of the programme, the student obtains, in addition to the degree from his or her home university, academic degrees from other participating universities at which he or she has acquired a specified number of credits.

The awarding of a joint title (titoli congiunti) instead consists of obtaining a single degree that is recognized and validated by all the institutions that promoted the joint study pathway.

Among the programmes awarding double, multiple or joint degrees promoted by the University of Florence are some that have been selected as Erasmus Mundus study paths by the European Union, for their specific "European added value".
