The Institutional part will focus on the the knowledge of the main notions of Spanish literary history of the XVIII-XXI centuries, to be acquired through the study of the manual and the complete and critically aware reading of the anthology proposed by the teacher (which will be analyzed during the course) and some of the most representative works of the period analyzed.
The lecture part of the course will focus on the study of the poetry of Federico García Lorca.

Learning Objectives
The institutional part of the course will provide a panorama of Spanish literature of the seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries through the reading and analysis of some representative texts.
The lecture part of the course will focus on the poetry of Federico García Lorca, which will be read and analyzed some of the most emblematic texts.

Type of Assessment
The exam will take place only in oral form, even for non-attending students or exchange programs (Erasmus and others). The test will be divided into some questions on the following specific parts of the course:
1) knowledge of Spanish literary history of the 18th-19th-20th-21th centuries;
2) Full-text and critical reading of the texts. The two specific parts can be verified with one or two articulate questions covering all areas. During the test the student can be required to analyze the materials discussed in class.
Demonstrating a sufficient level of preparation in both parts is necessary to pass the test.
The final evaluation is made by the average between the two parts.
The test aims to verify:
- basic knowledge of Spanish literary history of the 18th-19th-20th-21th centuries;
- knowledge of the critical tools for the analysis of poetic and theatrical texts;
- the ability to critically analyze the texts included in the programme.
