The Ambassador of India to Italy meets the students

The visit to the Rectorate together with rector Petrucci and vice-rector Menesini

On Friday, 5 December, rector Alessandra Petrucci and vice-rector for Teaching, Guidance and Student Services Ersilia Menesini welcomed the Indian Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Vani Rao, to the rectorate. She arrived in Florence together with Gurleen Kaur, first political secretary of the Indian Embassy in Rome.

The meeting represented a further step forward in expanding collaborations with Indian universities, an area in which Unifi is already particularly active thanks to the fourteen agreements currently in force and the large number of enroled students.

Ambassador H.E. Rao then met with a delegation of Indian students enroled at Unifi, who shared their experiences at the University of Florence.

The discussion also provided an opportunity to present the initiatives of Unifi Include dedicated to international students, such as support with residence permit procedures and the language courses offered by the University Language Centre.
