Alberto Martínez Quezada met with rector Petrucci and delegate Giovannetti

On Thursday, 4 December, Unifi welcomed Alberto Martínez Quezada, rector of Universidad Arturo Prat (UNAP), a Chilean university with which a cultural and scientific collaboration agreement and an Erasmus+ KA 171 exchange program are already in place. Martínez Quezada met with rector Alessandra Petrucci, the delegate for International Relations and Multilateral Agreements, Giorgia Giovannetti, and a group of exchange students.

The UNAP rector’s visit followed the meeting Innovation in Tertiary Education: Chile–Italy Cooperation, held in Rome on Wednesday, 3 December, in which delegate Giovannetti participated on behalf of the University. The initiative involved the Italo-Latin American International Organization (IILA), the Chilean State Universities (CUECH), and the Chilean Ministry of Education. Also present was Ennio Vivaldi, the Chilean Ambassador to Italy. In addition to presenting the results of projects carried out jointly by Italian and Chilean universities, the meeting included bilateral sessions aimed at promoting cooperation between universities and developing shared research activities.
