The internship is carried out at accredited host establishments subject to an agreement with the University (the promoter). Procedure for students The activation procedure for each individual curricular internship is fully digital and managed through the Banca Dati Stage platform.Before starting the internship activation process, make sure you have obtained the certificate for the general training course on workplace health and safety.Access the Banca Dati Stage platform to identify the host organisation where the internship will take place; curricular internships may only be carried out with accredited host organisations that have an agreement in place with the University.To begin the internship activation procedure, contact the Internship Service (Servizio Tirocini) of your School. Delivered in e‑learning mode, duration: 4 hours.Instructions in the event of an accident The host organisation and the intern must promptly report any accident occurring during the internship to the University of Florence by sending an email to segnalazione.infortuni(AT)unifi.it, copying the university tutor. This is necessary to allow the University to submit the mandatory reports within the time limits established by current legislation. Corso sulla sicurezza Non-curricular internship The non‑curricular internship is intended for individuals who obtained a university degree no more than 24 months ago.The University of Florence activates non‑curricular internships only for those who earned their degree at the University of Florence and only for internships carried out at host organisations located within the Tuscany Region (Academic Senate Resolution of 25 June 2019).For all non‑curricular internships carried out outside the Tuscany Region, applicants must contact the employment centres (centri per l’impiego) responsible for the area where the internship will take place.Under regional legislation in Tuscany, the host organisation is required to provide the intern with a mandatory allowance of no less than 600 euros gross per month.
