Understanding university costs

To enrol at the University, you are required to pay tuition fees and university contributions. The amount may vary depending on:

  • based on the value of your ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) for university student support (a document that assesses the income of your entire household);
  • on the regularity of your academic progress;
  • on any exemptions or financial benefits you may be entitled to.

University tuition fees help fund the services and activities offered by the University, such as teaching, laboratories, libraries, guidance, and student services.

University tuition fees are generally composed of:

  • a 16 euro stamp duty;
  • a 140 euro regional tax for university student support;
  • university contribution.

What you need to do

To pay your tuition fees according to your economic situation, you must:

  1. request your ISEE for university student support (ISEE per il diritto allo studio universitario);
  2. check the deadlines set by the University;
  3. verify the amount of each instalment in your reserved area on GCS portal;
  4. make the payment through PagoPA.
