Semestre aperto is the new access path to single-cycle (master's) degree programmes in Medicine and Surgery (Medicina e Chirurgia) and Dentistry and Dental Prosthodontics (Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria). During the first semester, you will attend three basic course units (Biology, Chemistry and Biochemical Prep, and Physics) and sit the respective exams. Based on the results obtained, a national ranking list is compiled to determine access to the second semester of Semestre aperto in Medicine and Dentistry, or, if your ranking is not high enough, to one of the related degree programmes specified during enrolment.In this section, you will find all the useful information to enrol, follow the semester, sit your exams, and learn about the expected enrolment procedures.
