The "Manifesto degli Studi"

The Manifesto degli Studi is the University of Florence’s official document that brings together the rules, deadlines and administrative procedures relating to the student career.

In the Manifesto you will find information on: 

  • the educational offer: first cycle (bachelor’s), second cycle (master’s) and single‑cycle degrees programmes active in the current academic year;
  • dates and deadlines;
  • enrolment and registration;
  • recognition of qualifications;
  • tuition fees. 

While the portal webpages help you navigate and complete procedures step by step, the Manifesto is the official reference for all the University’s administrative regulations.

Student regulations

During your university studies, it may be useful to consult regulations, guidelines and official documents that govern university life, services and the management of your academic career. 

The University of Florence provides an online archive (the "Statute and regulations" webpage), which can be browsed by title, topic, document type and date of issue. 

Many of the documents intended for students can be found by selecting the topics "Didattica (Teaching)" or "Studenti (Students)".

In the repository you can consult documents relating, for example, to: 

  • tuition fees and student contributions;
  • part‑time students;
  • ‘150‑hour’ student collaborations;
  • student elections and representation;
  • students’ rights and duties;
  • cultural and social initiatives;
  • transfers and access to restricted‑access programmes in years beyond the first;
  • maternity protection;
