Where can you travel?

With your pass, you can travel within the Florence metropolitan area using:

• the tramway;
• urban buses in the municipalities of the metropolitan area;
• selected overlapping suburban routes;
• regional trains at the main railway stations in Florence.

How much does the pass cost?

The cost depends on your ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator):

• 50 euro if your ISEE is up to 36,151.98 euro
• 65 euro if you do not submit an ISEE or if your ISEE exceeds 36,151.98 euro

Validity period

The pass is valid from 1 October to 31 July 2027.

You can purchase it from 21 September to 30 November 2026 via the Autolinee Toscane portal.

You can access the benefit if:

• you are regularly enrolled for the 2026/2027 academic year;
• you are a student or Ph.D. student at the University of Florence.

The procedure varies depending on your age and University ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator). To be considered regularly enrolled, you must have completed your enrolment or annual registration and paid your tuition fees for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The following are not eligible:

• research fellows and researchers;
• students enrolled in first and second level Professional Master's programmes;
• students enrolled in Specialisation Schools;
• students enrolled in advanced training, vocational training and continuing education courses, or Specialisation courses for special needs teaching;
• students enrolled in initial teacher training programmes worth 30, 36 and 60 ECTS;
• students enrolled in single courses;
• incoming Erasmus students.

To register on the at-bus.it/shop website, follow the instructions below. Remember to select your profile based on your age, residence, and University ISEE (threshold: 36,151.98 euro). 

Note: Profiles labeled "ISEE" are strictly reserved for Tuscany residents.

Are you under 26?

You must register a concessionary profile on the Autolinee Toscane portal. The profile to choose depends on your University ISEE and your residence:

• Student → if you do not have a University ISEE, if your ISEE exceeds 36,151.98 euro, or if you do not reside in Tuscany regardless of your ISEE;
• Student ISEE → if you reside in Tuscany and your University ISEE is equal to or less than 36,151.98 euro.

How to proceed

1. Pay the first instalment of your tuition fees.
2. Wait approximately 7 days.
3. Register on shop.at-bus.it.
4. Initially create a "Standard" (Ordinario) profile.
5. After receiving profile approval via email, request the correct concessionary profile.
6. In the "Institution" (Istituto) field, enter "UNIFI" or "Università degli Studi di Firenze".

Are you 26 or older?

You must also register on the Autolinee Toscane portal, but with a different profile. You can choose:

• Standard (Ordinario) → if you do not have a University ISEE, if your ISEE exceeds 36,151.98 euro, or if you do not reside in Tuscany regardless of your ISEE;
• Standard ISEE (Ordinario ISEE) → if you reside in Tuscany and your University ISEE is equal to or less than 36,151.98 euro.

Do you already have an Autolinee Toscane profile?

You do not need to create a new profile every year. 

Please note that:

• the "Student" ("Studente") or "Student ISEE" ("Studente ISEE") profile must be renewed annually;
• the "ISEE" profile normally expires on 31 December, unless extended by regional regulations;
• the "Student ISEE" or "ISEE" profile can only be requested by Tuscany residents;
• the "Standard" ("Ordinario") profile remains valid over time.

Students enrolled in the Semestre aperto for the 2026/2027 academic year may apply for a 50% reimbursement of expenses incurred for Local Public Transport.

• Immediate purchase: Unlike other students (for whom discounted pass sales begin on 21 September with validity starting 1 October), students enrolled in the Semestre Aperto may purchase the standard-rate quarterly pass immediately.
• Eligible pass type: Reimbursements are granted exclusively for the purchase of the Autolinee Toscane quarterly urban pass for capital city (Abbonamento urbano capoluogo trimestrale). 

Monthly or annual passes are not eligible for reimbursement.

• Application procedure: Once the purchase is complete, submit the reimbursement form to mobilita.studenti(AT)unifi.it. Applications must be sent exclusively from your official university email account (edu.unifi.it). 

Requests sent from personal email accounts will not be processed.

• Reimbursement disbursement: Following verification conducted in cooperation with Autolinee Toscane, the 50% refund will be credited within 30 working days via bank transfer to the IBAN (held or jointly held by the applicant) specified on the form.
• Refunds will be issued only for season tickets purchased by 30 October, 2026, unless the available funds are exhausted earlier. 

Where to find your pass 

After registering at shop.at-bus.it, you will find your pass under the "Firenze Urbano" section. 

Depending on your profile and your university ISEE, one of the following passes will be available: 

• Unifi e AFAM Convenzione 2026/2027 Base → 65 euro;
• Unifi e AFAM Convenzione 2026/2027 Ridotto → 50 euro. 

Have you changed your address? 

If your residential address has changed, please remember to update it in the Student Career Management Portal (GCS). This ensures that your data is correctly synchronized between Unifi and Autolinee Toscane. 

What do you need to show during ticket inspections? 

In the event of an on-board inspection, you must be able to present your Italian tax code (codice fiscale) via: 

• your health insurance card (tessera sanitaria);
• or your electronic identity card (CIE). 

Do you already have an Autolinee Toscane profile? 

You do not need to create a new profile every year. 

Please note, however, that: 

• the "Studente" or "Studente ISEE" profile must be renewed annually;
• the "ISEE" profile normally expires on 31 December, unless extended by regional provisions;
• the "Ordinario" profile remains valid indefinitely.

Se vuoi acquistare l’abbonamento agevolato per il trasporto pubblico locale, ma a partire dal 20 settembre hai già comprato un abbonamento Urbano Capoluogo Firenze (non in convenzione Unifi), puoi richiederne il rimborso ad Autolinee Toscane entro il 10 ottobre.

Come fare

Compila il form, inserendo nell'oggetto "Rimborso Unifi" e indicando nel testo: 

• nome e cognome
• codice fiscale
• data di acquisto dell’abbonamento
• data di pagamento delle tasse universitarie.

If you wish to purchase a subsidised local public transport pass, but have already bought a standard "Urbano Capoluogo Firenze" pass (not under the Unifi agreement) on or after 20 September, you can request a refund from Autolinee Toscane by 10 October.

How to apply

Submit the form, entering "Rimborso Unifi" in the subject line, and provide the following details in the text field:

• full name;
• tax code (codice fiscale);
• date of purchase of the pass;
• date of payment of tuition fees.

Unifi promotes sustainable mobility through dedicated agreements and services.

Each year, the University publishes a call for applications for the allocation of parking spaces reserved for Unifi students.

Parking spaces — available at selected campuses — are allocated based on a ranking list. To apply, you must submit an application following the procedures and deadlines specified in the annual call for applications. 

Please check this page regularly for updates, published calls for applications, and ranking lists. 

Where are parking spaces available? 

• Novoli Campus (20 spaces in 2027)
• Morgagni Campus (25 spaces in 2027)

The number of available parking spaces and locations may vary each academic year.
