Study Spaces and Libraries

At the University of Florence, you will find both study rooms, designed primarily for individual or group study, and libraries, which offer study spaces alongside books, digital resources, lending services, and research support. 

Whether you are preparing for an exam, looking for a quiet place to focus, or need to consult materials for a thesis or project, you can choose the space that best suits your needs.

Campuses and facilities

Libraries

The University of Florence libraries are part of the University Library System (SBA).

In the libraries you can:

  • borrow books and study materials;
  • consult specialized collections and historical documents;
  • access databases, e-books, academic journals, and other digital resources;
  • use study rooms and computer workstations;
  • receive support for literature searches, thesis work, and study activities.

Some libraries are organized across multiple sites located in the various university campuses.
