Research assignments art. 22 ter L. 240/2010

Research assignments (incarichi di ricerca) are contracts for introduction to research and innovation under the supervision of a tutor, aimed at young graduates (with a Second Cycle - master's or Single Cycle degree obtained no more than 6 years ago) with a suitable CV.  

The contracts have a minimum duration of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years (including any renewals or extensions), even if not continuous. This duration can only be extended within the framework of the European Union's Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) funding programme.

Assignments are awarded:

• Through selection calls, with evaluation based on qualifications and publications and, where applicable, an interview.
• Through direct award, with expressions of interest, in the case of funding obtained through competitive national, European or international calls.
