The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza - PNRR) is part of the Next Generation EU (NGEU) programme, namely the intervention package that the European Union adopted in response to the pandemic crisis.

The Plan is based on three strategic axes shared at European level: digitisation and innovation, ecological transition, and social inclusion.

The Plan has six missions:

  • Mission 1  "Digitisation, Innovation, Competitiveness, Culture"
  • Mission 2 “Green Revolution and Ecological Transition”
  • Mission 3 “Infrastructure for Sustainable Mobility”
  • Mission 4 “Education and Research”
  • Mission 5 “Inclusion and Cohesion”
  • Mission 6 “Health”

Italia domani is the official website of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The portal explains the contents and describes the implementation process of the PNRR.

Within mission 4 "Education and Research" the second intervention Area "From Research to Business" aims at assisting researchers in skills development, particularly in the field of digital technologies and in the ecological transition.
