The ongoing orientation performs a strategic function in combating educational failure, promoting study paths and personal growth. These are activities and specific support and training measures aimed at helping students who, during times of transition or difficulty, have to make important choices/decisions.The emphasis is on support and motivation throughout the university programme, so that students are helped to increase their self-esteem, develop self-awareness and recognise and enhance their skills, particularly those related to problem-solving (solving complex situations) in order to make informed and motivated decisions about their future. Workshop cycle on study methods The University of Florence is organizing a series of in-person workshops focused on enhancing study techniques and fostering self-regulated learning.
