International Degree Programmes

If you plan to enrol in a degree programme taught in English or to study abroad and obtain a qualification recognised in multiple countries, here you can find the programmes with international features.

An international programme may be:

  • taught in English — the programme is held entirely or predominantly in English;
  • double degree (doppio titolo)— upon completion you obtain two academic qualifications, one Italian and one from the partner university;
  • joint degree (titolo congiunto) — you obtain a single qualification jointly awarded and recognised by multiple universities;
  • multiple degree (titolo multiplo) — the programme includes the award of several qualifications through agreements with partner universities.

Admission to international programmes is governed by agreements with partner universities and is subject to a limited number of places. Selection procedures, participation requirements and mobility periods are indicated on the degree programme webpage and on the website of the relevant School.

Programmes held in English

English‑taught programmes are available at different levels of study:

  • First (bachelor’s) and single cycle degrees;
  • Second (master’s) degrees;
  • Ph.D. programmes;
  • Master courses;
  • Advanced study programmes

To find the programme you are interested in, remember to filter the results by selecting English in the "Language" field.

Double degree programmes

Double degree programmes are study pathways held in collaboration with one or more foreign universities. During the programme, you spend a period of study at the partner institution following an agreed learning activity.

Upon completion of your studies, if you meet the requirements set out in the agreement, you obtain two academic degrees: one awarded by the University of Florence and one by the partner university.
