Part-time student employment

Students enrolled in at least their second year who meet the merit and income requirements set out in the call for applications may work part-time at the University (libraries, museums, and other service centers) for a maximum of 150 hours per year.

Each year, a certain number of positions are made available, divided by degree and diploma program.

Collaboration details

• Pay Rate: € 8.00/hour (net of IRPEF taxes).
• Total Hours: Maximum 150 hours, deadline: 31 December  2026.
• Safety Training: Completion of a mandatory safety module is required. These hours are paid as part of the total contract.

Enrollment Requirements

• Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled full-time for the 2025/2026 academic year in a First (bachelor’s), Second (master’s), or Single-cycle degree programme. Eligibility extends from the second year of study up to the first year beyond the standard duration of the programme (fuoricorso). Participation is also open to students who graduate with a First degree from the University of Florence and immediately transition into a Second degree at the same institution within the same academic year.
• Credit: Having earned the minimum number of credits required for your specific year and degree programme by 10 August 2025.
• Economic Eligibility: An ISEE ((Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator)) certificate for university purposes of €90,000 or less. Your ISEE must be officially recorded in your student career profile prior to applying.
