Evolution of European and Italian fruitculture; productive aspects, marketing and problems. Classification, economic value, floral and fructification biology, cultivars, rootstocks, pedoclimatic requirement, orchard management, training systems, pruning, harvesting, post-harvest and use of the following species: apple, pear, apricot, cherry, peach, almond, plum, kiwi fruit, underutilised species and small berries.
