Communication skills will be developed by experimenting with the tools and carrying out the workshop activity within the course, which will test the ability to express in the group what is being done and personal involvement in improving one's knowledge and skills in learning .
Theoretical and operational interventions provide the theoretical, professional and personal cultural bases to understand and improve personal learning skills as a starting point to facilitate the construction of the teaching role.
Lectures on the theoretical aspects of Feuerstein's pedagogical concept, the comparative reading of theory and method, the developmental context of the method.
Laboratory activity on the use of the tools of the Instrumental Enrichment Program of the 1st level Organization of Points, Spatial Orientation 1, Comparisons, Analytical Perception.
Meeting with Italian and foreign experts
Group work for the deepening of knowledge, the exchange of experiences, educational planning on the case study.
Reflection and elaboration of videos on the application of the method.
Type of Assessment
For attending students, it is an ongoing examination based on the use of the Feuerstein instruments, of the 1st level Standard PAS.
Final exam for attending students will be based on a description of the educational intervention of the Feuerstein method through a case study.
For non-attending students a written test with six open questions on the text books and the material uploaded on the moodle platform and, once the written test has been passed, an oral examination aimed at verifying the application proposals of the method
The course includes 1 CFUs in English with reference to the agreement with Bar Ilan University to promote the exchange of Erasmus students
The focus of the course is the knowledge, use, experimentation and design hypothesis of the Feuestein approach.
After a historical scientific contextualization necessary to include the roots and the meaning of the contribution of the Feuerstein method, the theoretical and applicative aspects of the method will be explored thanks to the whole acquisition of the criteria of mediation and to the direct experimentation of the instruments. This study in addition to providing the knowledge and the construction operations of the mind fundamental to the acquisition of quality learning skills, aims to make people understand how this approach involves offering one of the ways to promote scholastic integration that includes foreign students, pupils with needs, pupils with special potential, pupils with special skills, etc.
