The course will be devoted to exploitation of the geothermal resources in order to develop the renewable energies. The main subjects will be concerning the activity of geophysical, hydrogeological and geochemical prospection along with an adequate geological asset. Part of the course will be regarding the well drillings in geothermal areas and environmental impacts of the waste waters and gases.
All the lectures are presented in ppt and they will be distributed to the students on a weekly basis and added to the Moodle platform.

Type of Assessment
Oral exam: the student should answer to several questions related to the main topics of the course. The student is asked to show a power point presentation related to a scientific article provided by the teachers. The critical capability of the course topics will be evaluated.
