The deadline for doctoral students to participate in the initiative promoted by the European university network EUniWell, of which the University of Florence is a member, expires on October 31. The initiative was launched to stimulate cutting-edge research that can improve the quality of life in society.
The Alliance is offering sixteen prizes - two for as many young people from the consortium's eight universities - for which those who have chosen as their thesis a topic related to "individual and social well-being" or "the environment, urbanity, and sustainable development" can compete.
Applicants from Unifi should send an email to uniwell(AT)unifi.it and write in the subject line which of the two categories they wish to compete for. Awards will be given for papers based on the scientific value and coherence of the research, the potential related to intellectual property, as well as the originality and uniqueness of the research.
