Physiology and pathophysiology of pain: functions of sensory receptors, afferent nervous fibres. spinal interneurons, spino-thalamic fibres, thalamus, thalamo-cortical fibres and cerebral cortex in physiological and pathological conditions, Nociceptive and neuropathic pain.
Pathophysiological and clinical aspects of cutaneous, deep somatic and visceral pain. Pathophysiological and clinical aspects of pain in the diseases of the locomotor system. Pathophysiological and clinical aspects of neuropathic pain: pain due to diseases of the peripheral nervous system and central pain. Pathophysiological and clinical aspects of pain in visceral diseases. Pathophysiological and clinical aspects of cancer pain.
