The seminar includes two sections, A (October) and B (November – December)
Section A: Seminars/workshops and lectures on various archaeological themes.
Section B:
Seminari classes and laboratory activity the excavations from Cosa
Section A:
Various articles will be discussed during classes and students are supposed to understand and acquire their main contents.

Learning Objectives
Section A: Acquiring knowledge and applying it through critical discussion; improving autonomous and team learning capacity and communication skills.
Section B: Basic knowledge of Cosa and its archeological materials
Prerequisites
Greek or Roman Archaeology, excavation experience
Teaching Methods
Class lectures and tutorials. Attending lab work is mandatory
Type of Assessment
Oral, with discussion of personal contributiio to lab work. The exam aims to verify the comprehension and knowledge of the relevant subjects and the ability of critical elaboration of the learning experience.

Section A:
Discussion seminars in group, workshops on materials and lectures. Tpics will be chosen depending on the students' number.
Section B:
Class lectures and tutorials on pottery, metals, coinage and conservation work.
