The course deals with the theme of cultural and media construction of stereotypes on specific social categories within the educational context. Stereotypes are social constructions that have often influenced educational paths and have been deconstructed or preserved over time. The course reconstructs the historical steps and the different effects produced by the stereotypes in the present and the role played by the media and the cultural context.
