Learning Objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the textual-analitical tools necessary to achieve an adequate level of autonomy in linguistic analysis in a contrastive perspective.

Type of Assessment
Final exam (AFTER having passed C1 Test) for all students, both attending and non-attending):
1) written exam (15'): short multiple-choice questionnaire on texts contained in the Collection of Documents or similar
2) oral exam: the students who pass 1) (correction and results available straight after) will have access to the oral on topics contained in the Collection of documents and available on Moodle
Course program
During the course
the logical structure of the English Language will be approached (including a contrastive perspective with the Italian Language) through its linguistic elements to help students
- improve their linguistic skills and
- achieve a good level of autonomy in a critical reading of a political-international text.
The course includes Manifesto for Europe writing activity, to be presented at the Jean Monnet project "SharEU: for a new Renaissance of the EU" 's final Conference (Florence, May 22-23).
