Legenda
Following my classical high school diploma from "Galileo" High School in Florence, my academic journey was centered around Electronic Engineering and culminated in an experimental thesis on the spectral analysis of radar signals. I then earned my Ph.D. in one of the early interdisciplinary Ph.D. programs that combined Electronic Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
Upon completing my Ph.D., I joined Professor Dino Giuli's research group at the University of Florence. He was the driving force behind the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in "Telematics and Information Society," which included faculty and researchers not only from the technical and scientific fields but also from the humanities, pedagogy, and social sciences. In this context, I began focusing on technological innovation for education, participating in the early distance learning projects, including "TELEDIRE," one of the first Italian experiments with an Internet-based distance education system.
From that point onwards, I initiated my scientific and professional collaboration with the Education Technologies Laboratory (Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literature, and Psychology – FORLILPSI), which was led by Professor Antonio Calvani during those years. I contributed to the "Methods and Technologies for e-Learning" Master's program, a postgraduate course resulting from a joint effort between the FORLILPSI Department and the Electronic Engineering Department. During this period, I developed my lifelong learning skills and participated in the Regional Center of Interest for Environmental Professional Training on behalf of the Tuscany Region, located at the PIN – University Campus in Prato. I also served as a coordinator for working groups on innovation and lifelong learning projects.
Since 2013, I have been collaborating consistently with the Education Technologies Laboratory, led by Professor Maria Ranieri, where I have been engaged in research and coordination for numerous media education and educational technology projects.
Currently, I am a member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the Education Technologies Laboratory, contributing to the identification of new research directions.
